AHH still now Druid armor update, ohh well i guess i'll just have to wait another week, (please ). Other than that i think this update looks great, i love the fact that they keep giving us more quests i like haveing a lot of stuff to do.
And the collector update was a very good idea.

There is always next week
I was hoping for something for us to spend our money on. Maybe fireworks or personal farming land while you pay your taxes and harvest the crops.
Ho Hum.. PvPer's should be very happy though

A few notes on this update.
The /age command has been reset for some reason.
It also takes AGES to enter the tombs after the first stage (which has been changed)

they said they updated "ascended" armor...
Does that mean that if I keep my ascalon armor and then ascend it will look different?
If I get someone to rush me to Droknar's will it look different than it will once I ascend?

Syncro emotes. Can you just imagine 30 monks all doing syncronized Kun fu?

I think ascension armor is the 15k from Granite and Marhan's.

"in other words you wont need to get fortitude +15, 16, 17.... all the way to uber. You just get the first one and skip to the end."
Doesn't sound logical. What would the point of mid-level upgrades be then? Why bother with them if you could just get min and max?

This was taken from the info that was released last week concerning this weeks update. There is hope that maybe it will contain some good gold sinks.

One final note: Some of you will wonder if we've forgotten that ascended characters with obsidian armor need challenges too... Don't worry. You're next.

IMO they shouldn't have been variable stats in the first place IMO. It just creates a highly inflated market for items that really offer fairly insignificant bonuses.
However, unlocking still goes for pvp only. People who PvE mostly can still show off their 1337 30 hp pommels and stuff and they're gonna be worth just as much. I'd use a 5 defense mod over a 30hp mod anytime.

Added a way for multiple players to more easily synchronize their emote animations. By following your emote command with a space and an asterisk, you indicate your emote should begin on the next 10 second pulse. For example, typing “/dance *” causes your character to wait until the next 10 second pulse to begin dancing. If several players do this before the next pulse, they will all begin dancing simultaneously.
|
This is the best...update...EVER!!
I can finally organize something I have wanted to do in this game for a long time....get a line up of female Necromancers and dance in sync!
Yay Anet!!

Has anyone else noticed that this update seems to push the CPU more?
Last night I was playing and my CPU barely cracked 43 C. Today, after update, it's pushing 53 C. I knew something was up when the case fans started blowing pretty hard.
The second build that they just released seems to be a bit better - still, what's up with this?
My system specs:
AMD64 3000+
2GB Ram at DDR333
Win XP SP2

lol, that would really piss me off, but i'd get over it this game is to much fun to be gettin pissed off because my armor isn't the "the coolest".
However so far i have not seen A-net back down from any promises that they've made so far. Mmm my nose is so brown, but i don't care

I think I may have seen some of this at Serenity Temple yesterday. I passed through there, and saw several people wearing armor I've never seen before, and also some monks dancing in perfect sync. Guess it was devs or beta-testers.

20 minutes to unlock a skill at level 20 through PvE, 1-2 hours to unlock a skill through PvP, that seems fair.

In case anyone was wondering, I found the new quest in Eastern Frontier
***Spoiler(kinda)***
Right outside the portal to Pockmark Flats. The quest is very easy.
*End spoiler*

You better not be complaining...
Also, I doubt it would take 1-2 hours if you just did GvG a couple of times.
